The Dynamic Duo

This is Batman and Robin painted up for my 1966 Corgi Batmobile. More detailed than the stanard Corgi paint job.

Let the fun begin

Ok so when you get your Batmobile it will be in terrible shape. Paint scuffed, missing parts, wonky wheels. No way will it pass the NCT. Here's an example. Ouch!!
First thing to do is drill out the rivets underneath, six in total. Be careful, you only want to drill the rivets and not the body work. Then the car should pop apart. Make sure to keep an eye out as tiny parts tend to fly about. You then have to drill 3 more small spots of weld holding in the canopy section. This also holds in place the rockets tubes and antenna. Then you can really inspect all the parts.

The Batmobile Project

Hi welcome to my project to restore all types of Batmobiles, mainly The Corgi Batmobile. There are many sites that details the history and different versions of the Batmobile, so I won't go into it here.
